My name is Kirk Caulfield, and I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. I currently reside in Southern Maine. I was born with mediumship abilities, and my first spiritual experience was at the age of 3. My grandmother (who I called Nana) had recently passed away and came to visit me as a spirit when I was asleep. Being a child of such a young age, I could not understand what was transpiring at that time, so all I remember doing at one point was pounding on the walls and asking her to leave, which she did. Throughout my childhood, my gifts were mostly suppressed because I did not have anyone to really talk to about these gifts. My gifts did not start to fully awaken until I was in my 40s. Life’s experiences kept my abilities suppressed; however, during this time the spirit world purposely awakened me because I had a job to do.
In addition to my Reiki and psychic medium practice, I am a certified licensed massage therapist. I currently work for a healthcare organization as a certified Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) in the medical records department, where I specialize in the release of information, meaning I handle requests from patients and physicians when they want records. My background in the health field allows me to understand information the spirit world relays to me as I perform Reiki; therefore, healing sessions are more productive. I can often continue to read a person and/or feel the energy come from me to help assist in a person’s healing process after receiving Reiki for a few days after seeing them. The reason the energy keeps flowing is because my abilities never turn off. Some mediums and psychics call their gifts a curse because they do not shut off; however, I call them a blessing because I have fully embraced my “gifts of responsibility”.
